A ricey collaboration between an upstate NY farmer, Brooklyn sake brewer, and Queens soap maker. Great Joy Farms grew and milled the rice, Kato Sake Works brewed sake with it, and we took the byproducts and made one incredibly nourishing soap out of it.

Sake Kasu is a coveted ingredient in Japanese skincare. In Japan, sake brewers are said to have unusually youthful skin. This is attributed to frequent contact with the sake kasu which is packed with kojic acid, enzymes, and vitamins.

Contains rice husks for a medium grit exfoliation.

    My new favorite-Sake Kasu Soap

I love the fragrance and gentle exfoliating nature of the soap. Because I need to wash my hands frequently as I return to kitchen duties, I depend on a cleansing, richly lathering soap that nourishes my skin and cleans thoroughly. This soap does it all.

    Love the new soap

It is creamy with just the right amount of exfoliation from the rice husks. It smells natural and clean. I will purchase again.
